Ubuntu Gutsy and ThinkPad Hot Keys
Ok just booted the Gutsy Beta LiveCD I downloaded about 5 days ago or so (maybe less) and I know there is a distribution upgrade to agree to once I actually have it installed (which it’s doing now, I’m using Firefox on the LiveCD, cool huh — something you can’t do on Windows when installing, or Mac OS X.)
Anyway, it too seems to have issues:
- Fn + F5 (Wifi on/off): Does not work
- Fn + F7 (Output: LCD, Monitor, LCD+Monitor): Works
- Fn + PgUp/Down: Works but the OSD is inaccurate, only displays something at full brightness and even that is just one notch on the scale.
Something tells me that unless after the distro upgrade these things are fixed that I will be sticking firmly with Feisty.
