Those days of quietude
A post of lyrics again…
Way Out West – “Don’t Forget Me”
There’s just one thing that I need to say
before I close my eyes and walk away
There’s just one thing that I need to feel
Before I walk away against my will
There’s just one thing that I need to hear
Before I walk away for the last time
There’s just one thing that I need to see
Before I take this chance and set us freeDon’t forget me
Don’t regret me
Don’t suspect me
Don’t neglect meThe memory of this still reminds me of you
The memory of this still reminds me
The memory of this still reminds me of you
That is where you’ll find meStars in your eyes
Did you take the time to realize
Can you count the stars in your eyes
Did you take the time to realize
It’s a good song, heard a great remix of it lately (it came out 2-3 years ago I think) – just made me feel a little sad listening to it… But that’s a spectrum of emotion, better to just accept it than fight it.
Guess it’s those Autumnal blues. I should get out today again but I think the reason I’m feeling a bit ’squiffy’ is that I’m quite exhausted and need to rest, and that I shall. I’ll wander down the seafront later but for now I am happy to just tidy up the flat and relax a little.
Edit: this was the remix I heard, it’s good and has to be listened all the way through for the full experience (there are some strident chords towards the end that I really like.) I think Guy Ehmetores is actually Tiesto:
