Get this – my grandfather was given a brand spanking new Leica M3 when he was an officer during his first tour of Vietnam. He ended up giving it back – having never used it. Guess he didn’t care much for photography. Man, I was so close!
Awww. Well if you save your pennies for long enough, one will come along.
I was utterly convinced that owning a smaller camera would not change the way I approach and see with photography, merely allow me to photograph where before it wasn’t possible due to either needing to be quiet, to be able to focus in low light or hold at slow shutter speeds…
I found a small lighter well built camera has in fact changed the way I work and approach photography. It’s a whole new vernacular and that is beginning to be quite spectacular.
Seems the Voigtlander aint too bad at all

I second that. That M2 is sweet.
